2006 Terms and Conditions for

Tara Festival of Crafts Committee

 

 

1.  This agreement shall become binding upon the deposit of the Vendor?s payment.  No refund of rental fees after September 1, 2006.  If the cheque is returned ?Not Sufficient Funds? (N.S.F.) the space is cancelled.

 

2.  The Vendor agrees to use his/her space solely for the display and sale of his/her own crafted items.  The Vendor agrees not to sublet or assign any part of the exhibit space to any other person.  As Our Craft Show is a juried show, all items displayed by the Vendor shall remain at the discretion of the Festival of Crafts Committee.

 

3.  Hours for craft show are Friday, October 13th from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, October 14th, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Vendors must set up their exhibits between 7:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13th and must remain in place until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday October 14th.  Vendors not setting up their displays by 12:00 p.m. and/or packing up their goods or taking down their displays prior to 5:00 p.m. on the Saturday will not be invited back the next year.  THIS WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

 

4.  There will be 5 entrances for Vendors to use for unloading and loading:  Curling Club door; north end of the Curling Rink; south end of Arena; west side of Arena and main entrance.  Vendors must unload as quickly as possible and park their vehicles in specially designated Vendor areas.  ?VENDOR? signs will be provided for display in each Vendor?s vehicle.  This sign must be placed so that it is visible through the windshield of the Vendor?s vehicle.

 

5.  All Vendors must display within the boundary lines of their space, .e.g. 8? X 10?.  This is strictly enforced!  All items to be displayed by hanging must be hung on the Vendor?s own display board or rack.  Tables will only be supplied when paid for ahead of time.  ($5.00 each table)  Chairs will be supplied upon request.  ALL TABLES MUST B SKIRTED.  The arena staff request that staples not be used to affix items to the tables provided.

 

6.  In order to prevent confusion regarding admission fees during the day of the craft show, we are requesting that all Vendors be identified by name tags supplied by the Committee.  Only 2 name tags will be provided per exhibit space.  Vendors are to register at the Committee office in the main lobby before setting up to receive their name tags and information with respect to the show.

 

7.  The Committee and Arena staff shall not be responsible for damage, fire, theft, liability, injury or acts of God.  The Vendor participates entirely at his/her own risk and should obtain appropriate insurance coverage for his/her participation.  The collection of Provincial Sales Tax (PST) and G.S.T. is the responsibility of each Vendor.  Every exhibit must be supervised at all times.

 

8.  The Vendor agrees to abide by all the terms and conditions adopted by the Committee and agrees that the Committee shall have the right to adopt and/or amend any regulations deemed necessary prior to and during the craft show.  Please note no pets are allowed in any part of the complex.

 

As a Vendor at the Tara Festival of Crafts for October 13th & 14th, 2006, I will abide and agree with the above Terms and Conditions.
